In 2018, Group De Cloedt entered the French market with the acquisition of a sand depot in Harnes (France). At this site the Group combines both aggregates and environmental activities.
Strategically located along both the Haute-Deûle canal and the A1 motorway (l'autoroute du Nord), this depot covers an area of +/- 2Ha and allows us to supply various customers from the Nord – Pas de Calais region with high-quality aggregates.
The platform allows us to receive and sort such flows in preparation for transport to and processing in one of our processing sites. For transport, maximum use is made of the waterways, since Group De Cloedt has this logistics knowledge completely in-house.
