Description of the works
Dansk Natursten is to deliver approximately 68,000 tons of Norit 15/120kg from Norwegian quarries with Hagland ships. The stones are received in Thyborøn on dump trucks that drive the stones to storage, where a wheel loader stacks the stones. For that task, we are collaborating with Vejlby Entreprenørforretning.
The 68.000 tons of rocks are now in stock.
Rohde Nielsen's installation ship "Grane R" will arrive mid-July.
Vejlby Entreprenørforretning will move the stones onto the quay again, and the plan is for the "Grane R" to self-load about 4,000 tonnes every second day, therefore the stones must be ready and in stock when the installation begins.
